Slowly, left out of pack.

One way or the other, I showed,
what I fancy
To the herd
With that I loved to stay
I tramped my feet,
hard enough
To show my fleet
That am the diamond in the rough
But all this time
I wonder
What I became
To my herd, am I a hinder?
Every passing road
Every new meadow
I was with them to board
all the adventures, like a shadow.
But I see
Me always been repelled
None came to heed
or to put my whims upheld.
As I told my mind aloud
Slowly I come to make out
Not here, was I sowed
Soon going to be left out
Left out for the choices I made
Hanged for a sheep as a lamb
For the things I relished.
Left out for I am.
