This one's about an unexpected alliance, a bizarre team-up. We met on the fourth floor in our 2021 dream career training institute. Honestly, the details of that first meeting are hazy. Let's say the initial vibe wasn't exactly fireworks. There were reasons, unspoken but understood, that kept us at a distance.
But here's the twist: time, change, and maybe a sprinkle of fate have transformed that distance into a quirky friendship. But we don't talk much about it these days because today we are different people sharing a cheerful friendship. Looking back, it's clear we've both evolved. Me, him, even the people around us – the whole landscape is different now.
And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. This unexpected bond gifted me with a friend whose quirks are delightful. And a silent shout-out to our mutual acquaintance who set this camaraderie in motion without knowing it!
Fast forward to today, and our friendship has evolved in ways I never expected. We wouldn't call each other kindred spirits – his mannerisms can be a lot. Let's say his character isn't what typically draws me in.
But here's the twist: there's a genuine fondness now. It could've been how his insatiable curiosity, a double-edged sword sometimes, keeps things interesting. Or perhaps the unwavering conviction he brings to his passions makes him a fascinating case study.
Here's the thing: He is straightforward, wears his heart on his sleeve, and gets sensitive easily despite his seemingly enigmatic exterior. And again, he bounces back. For me, he is a shameless guy who cannot be offended in whatever way we try to humiliate him. The way we try to humiliate him, he has the attitude of "So what?". The easy thing about him is that I don't have to analyse and find hidden meaning in his words—he is such a delicate and open guy.
Let's say my friend wasn't exactly known for his unwavering commitment. He was the sultan of "I'll start tomorrow." So, colour me surprised when I found him morphing into a gym rat. This paragon of inconsistency was suddenly there, day after day, defying my expectations with every bicep curl of his.
This newfound dedication wasn't a one-off. It was a sign of something wonderful – growth. Even his political compass was previously a bit dusty and directionless. Now, it is slowly starting to point north. He was forming his own opinions, brick by intellectual brick. It was a beautiful transformation to witness.
This guy, who I wouldn't have pegged for Solomon-like wisdom in love, has amused me with his incredibly empathetic decisions about his romantic life. From the beginning itself, I have seen the principles he follows in his broader spectrum of human connections - friendships or platonic or romantic relationships, and, of course, his calculated and considerate moves shouldn't surprise me. Damn!
Now, my dear friend, the moments I genuinely like to remember are not our exchange of tickles, the abode party, or the days you gave unexpected company when I felt lonely after attacks from foes. It was the silent exchanges of smiles with our dirty minds about the people who passed by. We would sit across the hall, exchange our naughty thoughts, and enjoy what we saw in our shared imaginations. What a joy!!!
Returning to portraying my observations, despite his limitations, his ability to laugh things off, whether out of bravery or sheer obliviousness, amazes me. It is a quality that makes me wonder: courage or blissful ignorance keeps him so tension-free?
This is the beauty of unexpected friendships – they show you that people are more than the sum of their quirks. They're capable of surprising you and challenging your assumptions. This friend is a walking contradiction, a puzzle I find myself strangely drawn to. While I wouldn't call him my ideal confidante, his presence leaves a void when he's not around. I like you, so I'm writing about you, APR.

Up and down went the roller coaster
Never to stop or to take a break
All I could do is lay absent in that fast moving circus vehicle.
Screams whiffing the air
Smells like rotten memories
While I sniff around for some fresh air.
Those hurtful moments open the doors of ecstasy
Yet I write it down - the emotions
Cos tomorrow I won't remember
what it feels like today
And today I don't feel like
Tomorrow will ever come.
Know the depth of emptiness I feel
And how those long chapters of emptiness kept filling me
Like it was forever and yeah it is forever
But I can keep writing how I feel
For every next day I wake up to new jar of emotions that
No one created yet that existed
somewhere deep and unfound.

I like photography because seeing my photographs would make me less lonely
I keep pictures of my favorite actors because of my fondness for their characters. Those make me feel less lonely.
I love making things colorful. Unfortunately I am not good at it. But I love buying things for myself that are colorful because that would make me less lonely.
And I love watching my favorite people talk because their happiness and sorrows and their sharing makes that emptiness inside me fill momentarily.
I fancy gifting my favorite people with What They Want because I love seeing them engaged in their lively activities.
I love seeing my people because watching them makes me feel less lonely.
And I have learned to use my loneliness to look back into me.
