I listen to her reading e-lessons with a wow
As if she is going to glide through the sky of dreams tomorrow.
Those keystrokes on her laptop has become the reason for my smiles
As if she knits future with her fingertips.
I admire the way she talks to the screen
As if her teacher is sitting next to her.
I am curious of her note jottings
As if she is sitting in her class.
I wish I too had these lock-down days
As to know how it felt to study
Sitting in comforts of my own home
As if I wanted lock-downs forever.
These are sinful thoughts.
I don't want my fellowmen to suffer more
Sitting inside houses without jobs.
Let it end but the e-learning succor
For kids to improve their creative power.

This time, too, I cried
Over the endless perils I had to go through in my childhood
And the number of bad dreams that kept me awake tons of nights.
This time, again, I sobbed over my helplessness.
Over my broken sentences and thoughts that got withered away.
20 years of stained bad memories
Unerased and understated.
But this time my tears did not leave me strangled in the woods
But rather it cleared the dust on my window glass.

Mother Earth founds the planet to be the root of both her human beings and inert objects, a term that reflects an embodiment. Mother Church regarded the Church as the ultimate arbiter. Mother tongue, the language in which you think and sleep. And so is, motherland. These signify the things inseparable from you. Things too close to being oneself. Things that shaped you known by the prefix “mother”.
Mother, mom, mummy, mama, mum, amma, marem, mommy, em, maty, mutter and so on. An unexplained trend for the term "mother" occurs throughout languages. It is said that the basis for words like “mum” come from the most comfortable sounds babies instinctively make when they master their language. So, that means the sounds you pronounce to call her are attached to the core of who you are.
As always, religion has played a tremendous role in portraying the role of mother. An intrinsic part of ancient cultures was adoring God as a mother. Mother goddess with a female-figure god, the central character in many early cults with religion, where the preservation in fertility was of paramount religious significance. The idea of the female life-giving was regarded as sacred, and a profound wonder. While many regards the notion of worshiping God as a mother as the fundamental point of the most advanced primitive religious or traditions. Examples of these goddesses are Astarte, Cybele, Demeter and Isis. Here too in India, it was something of our continuous living habits, by which the principles of universal divinity simply manifest literally as our own mothers.
India's "Sanatan" culture recognizes not only godliness as a motherhood but also our real moms as god for growing each one of us. It is a momentous level. Devi Adi parashakti, the supreme Mother, expresses herself in different ways, reflecting the ultimate power - both productive and destructive. She is mother nature (Mula Prakriti), who wakes up to all forms of life and enriches them from end to end through her body. In the end, she dissolves all aspects of life back into herself to maintain herself as the force of eternal damnation. She is the one who establishes bonds and contributes to holiness. Similarly, Holy Prophet has advised to show kindness to Mother. A man walked to Prophet for guidance as to who must be served well. He was told by the Prophet to be gentle with mother. The man inquired thrice, and Prophet told him to do well with his mom all three times. And again, Jesus' virgin mother or "Mother of God" (popularly called) is mother Mary who Catholics and most Anglican and Orthodox Christians look at. At the same time, I am not turning blind to the way importance of mother (women) was slowly zapped with the evolution of religious practices and customs. Yet she remains the glue that holds everyone together, in a family.
Perhaps she is a glue that keeps you attached to her. “Pragmatics and the Philosophy of Mind: Thought in language” by Marcelo Dascal clearly explains the philosophy of mother-child interaction. From the birth of the child itself, by observation and clarification, mother understands the mental representations of the child. By a stronger interaction the mother can imprint her intentions in the child’s mind and it gradually becomes the intention of the child. Hence, she is self-fulfilling through you, her child. We are talking about somebody else inducing their thoughts into our mind. Yes, we are all connected to at least a person and that would be our mother to whom our minds are the most transparent. It is simply because she is the one who started molding us even before we realized who we really are. The maker of our minds, indeed. The one who decided what dominated in our minds. She is the first one who ascribed to our intentions. May be that is the reason why she can really feel what we feel without a word of it being shared. Afterall, your blood and flesh are something you absorbed from her when you were in her womb. We fed on her body. She understood that we were hungry or thirsty without really asking us, to the infants we were once. Even after birth, we fed on her. So literally you are your mother, son or daughter – physically or mentally. You and your mother are the same. Your mother is you. Surely, the role of mother adorned by a woman will not contradict her other roles and achievements. At the same time, rarely found unkind moms will not taint the divinity of motherhood.
